The Challenge
Digital products are known to have high profit margins. But one needs to overcome the challenge of how to get the thing made. For this client, customization of the company’s digital product was a manual endeavor that was taking significant time; by the business owner’s estimation, each report took about two hours to score and generate. Scoring was done manually with the assistance of Excel formulas, and was clunky and error prone. The report assembly process was equally cumbersome.
Solution
Superga Integrated developed a custom headless application to score results from each instrument by a different algorithm, according to separate rules. Once evaluated, the participant’s customized graphs and feedback are generated as custom jpg and json files. The final step assembles the participant’s customized report.
Results
The custom application eliminates the potential for errors to arise in scoring. Most importantly, a process that once took hours can now be executed in seconds, involving no human intervention. An investment of this type can pay for itself in a matter of months given the increased potential revenue from fully automated reporting.
